Since 2000, VNA has provided world-class news photography, video and
editorial services from the “Af-Pak” region to the world’s leading media
brands and multilateral institutions.

VNA has since added print editorial and broadcast programming
departments to cater to demand from existing and new international media
partners.

An award-winning journalist of 24 years’ standing, Mr Hussain has
more a decade’s experience of developing Af-Pak-focused content for
newspapers, magazines and television channels in Pakistan, the Middle
East and Europe.

He has worked in lead editorial management roles in the Middle East, UK
and Pakistan, including as the Islamabad resident editor of The Nation, a
leading English-language newspaper, and as senior executive producer of
CNBC Pakistan, the country’s first international media franchise.

He leads VNA’s print editorial and broadcast programming departments,
and remains an active field journalist.

Mr Pasha has been a leading photojournalist in the Af-Pak region for 34
years, making his career a virtual record of every conflict, natural disaster
and political milestone that has made global headlines.

In 2000, he founded Visual News Associates as Pakistan’s first
independent photo and video news agency.

Respected for his professionalism by the leading global media brands,
from CNN to Reuters, his handiwork includes many of the iconic images
associated with the region.

He continues his work in the field, and leads VNA’s visuals and editorial
services departments.
